Privacy Policy & Terms

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy and Communication Consent Form outlines the practices of ReduceMyInsurance.Net ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent insurance agency, regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information. We represent multiple insurance companies and offer various insurance products, including but not limited to home, auto, business, general liability, workers compensation, life, and health insurance. This policy is designed to help you understand how we handle your personal information and your rights in relation to that information.

Information Collection

We collect personal information that you provide to us directly, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, social security number, driver's license number, employment history, and financial information. With your permission we may read details from your Google Account to fill in your application, as described under "Signing in with Google and Google Account information" below. If you choose to, you can also ask us to look up the people and vehicles on record at your address and the public listing and tax-record details of your home; we show you everything we find, you decide what to keep, and nothing is sent to an insurance company until you submit your application. We may also obtain information from third parties, including credit bureaus, motor vehicle reports, business credit profiles, and C.L.U.E. (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) reports, to assess eligibility and pricing for insurance products.

Use of Information

  • Determine your eligibility for insurance products.
  • Provide accurate insurance quotes and offers.
  • Facilitate the application process with insurance companies we represent.
  • Communicate with you regarding your insurance needs and policy updates.

Disclosure of Information

We may share your personal information with insurance companies we represent and third-party service providers as necessary to offer you insurance products and services. These companies may use your information to run credit checks, review motor vehicle reports, verify employment history, assess business credit profiles, and conduct other evaluations needed for eligibility and pricing determinations.

Consent for Data Processing & Sharing

By engaging with ReduceMyInsurance.Net, you consent to the processing and sharing of your personal data as necessary for the provision of insurance services. This includes:

  • Insurance Carrier Partners, MGAs, and Brokerage Markets: To obtain insurance quotes, verify coverage, and manage policies.
  • Third-Party Software Providers: For the administration of insurance services and customer support.
  • Consumer Reports & Third-Party Data: We may obtain consumer reports, credit checks, motor vehicle reports, employment histories, and other relevant data to assess eligibility and pricing.

Purpose of Data Sharing: The sharing of your data is strictly for the purpose of providing you with tailored insurance solutions, including determining eligibility, pricing, and offering the best possible insurance options.

Communication Consent

By providing your phone number, email address and other contact details, you consent to receive communications from us, including but not limited to, sms/text messages, emails, and phone calls regarding insurance products and services, policy updates, and renewal reminders. We comply with 10DLC (10 Digit Long Code) standards for SMS messaging, ensuring responsible communication practices.

  • Email Communications: For detailed insights, policy documents, and service notifications.
  • SMS Messaging & Automated Texts: For timely updates, responses to your inbound communications sending policy information, and exclusive offers. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Phone Calls: You also consent to receive phone calls from us, which may be automated or pre-recorded, for the purposes described above.

Protection of Information

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Signing in with Google and Google Account information

You can sign in to our client portal with your Google Account. Signing in with Google is always optional: you can sign in with a code sent to your email or phone instead, and you can apply for insurance without ever connecting a Google Account.

What we ask Google for

When you sign in, we ask Google for your name, your email address and your basic profile. We use your email address to match you to your account with us and to sign you in. Separately, if you choose "Fill in from my Google Account" while filling in an application (you do not need to sign in to do this), we ask for your permission to read the following items from your Google Account. Google shows you this list and you can allow or decline each item; we read only the ones you allow.

  • Email addresses on your Google Account: to offer you an email address for your application.
  • Phone numbers on your Google Account: to fill in your contact phone number.
  • Street addresses on your Google Account: to fill in your mailing or residence address. We send that one address to Google's Address Validation service, which checks that it is a real, deliverable address and returns it in its standard postal form; the service is used for nothing else and we do not use the result for any other purpose.
  • Date of birth: to fill in the date of birth that auto, home, life and health applications require.
  • Gender: to fill in the gender field that auto applications ask for. Age group: only to check that the account belongs to an adult. If Google says it does not, we fill in nothing, because applications are made by adults.
  • Language preference: to fill in your preferred language on the application (only when it is one of the languages we can serve), so our staff can contact you in it.

How we use it

We use this information for one purpose: to save you typing. It fills in your application or your profile with us, and you see every value, correct it, or delete it before anything is saved or submitted. Nothing from Google is sent to an insurance company, a rating service or anyone else until you review it and submit your application, the same as information you type yourself. We do not use it to decide whether to offer you insurance, to set your price or to market to you.

What we keep

  • Your name and email address are kept as part of your client account, so we can recognize you when you sign in.
  • The other items are held on our server for up to ten minutes, only so that your browser can collect them once to fill in the form, and are then deleted. We give Google's access back as soon as we have read them. They become part of your file with us only if you review the form and submit your application; then they are treated like everything else you give us, as described in this policy. Items you change or clear before submitting are not kept, and we do not keep a record of the values Google sent.
  • We do not read your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, photos or your Google contacts, and we do not ask Google for permission to.

What we never do with it

  • We do not sell it or rent it, and we do not share it with data brokers.
  • We do not use it for advertising, including interest-based or retargeted advertising.
  • We do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Where our staff tools use AI to organize an application, the application is handled as described under "Disclosure of Information", and Google Account information is not used to develop or improve any general-purpose model.
  • We do not allow our staff to read it for any reason other than helping you with your request, to keep your account secure, or to follow the law.

Your choices

  • You can remove our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After that we can no longer read anything from your Google Account.
  • You can ask us to delete the Google Account information we hold, or to stop offering Google sign-in on your account, by emailing service@ReduceMyInsurance.Net. We will act on the request promptly. We may keep what the law, an insurance application or a policy requires us to keep, and we will tell you if that applies.

ReduceMyInsurance.Net's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
